I tutor using the 'Learn Reading' lessons, a multisensory approach that results in skyrocketing comprehension and fluency. It does not take long for the students to experience the joy of reading without having to guess, as they learn the why and how. It is an Orton-Gillingham-based, explicit phonics approach.

Our lessons practice these three golden rules:

Pencil reading - children learn to blend to the end with no guessing.
Vowel placement strategy - children will learn what each vowel will say and when.
Give a goal method - children will learn to recognize and correct the error themselves.
